Fuerteventura
Fuerteventura is the 2nd largest Canarian Island. Our
House is situated within 10 minutes of the Airport.
It is within the secure complex of the only Golf course
on the island, a short walk to the best Shopping, Restaurants
and Entertainment Centre on the Island. Its also a short
distance to the Centre of Caleta de Fuste (10 minute walk),
with many centres and bars, restaurants and shopping.
There are two beaches at Caleta; one at the bottom
of the golf course and another larger beach a short
walk along the front.
Weather
Fuerteventura has the lowest rainfall and the longest
hours of light of all the Canarian islands.
From April to October rainfall is almost non-existant
and the winter months provide the best temperatures
in Europe and of any destination within 4 hours of the
UK.
Temperatures range from 17 degrees centigrade average
in winter up to the low 30 degrees in the summer. However,
golfing and sunbathing is always comfortable as an occasional
breeze makes even the hottest temperatures very pleasant.
